NeoHecate

In many popularised films of the future, the centre remains occupied by the same figure: the lone male protagonist navigating collapse, technology, and salvation. Dystopian and sci-fi worlds often exclude feminine bodies. Women, queer, and femme identities are rarely granted narrative space, more often reduced to background figures or single-faceted symbolic devices.

NeoHecate is our response to this absence as a mythic projection of a future shaped by those once pushed to the periphery.
Inspired by Hecate, the ancient goddess of thresholds, shadows, and transformation, she is reimagined as a dominant force, moving through liminal space with intensity. Between stillness and motion, she asserts through grace and fluid strength.

A performance work created by a team entirely composed of female-identifying and queer artists.
Through New Way Vogue, silhouettes pulse and cut through darkness, articulating a visual language that reclaims a speculative future with presence.
