This particular visit, the Northeastern winter winds brought mists and light rain to this old mining town.
We created imagery capturing the nostalgia of the area's history, in a sensual visual language reminiscent of the 2007 movie Lust, Caution by Taiwanese director Lee Ang. It's a story about the complex inner world of a female spy as she navigates themes of seduction and psychological tension during Japan's occupation of China.
